Aussie Beer

I love beer. There is an anthropological theory that civilization was invented to provide a more constant supply of beer. Think about it - If you have fire and clay, you can make pots. If there are some grains growing wild nearby, you can mix them with water and mash them and ferment them. But to really have a constant supply, you have to develop farming. And if you do that, then the hunter - gatherers will come from miles around to trade you fresh meat and berries for some beer. And you are in business. Towns, cities, the whole catastrophe.

One day, Andy and I were emailing back and forth, talking about all the great things in life, as we are wont to do, and I asked what kind of beer he likes. Now living in New Jersey, he hails from Oz. He emailed a bunch of buddies, saying, Would you guys do me a favour and tell me your favourite Aussie beers. Your top 5 let's say. About an hour later he emailed me back with these result of the poll.
